Prayer pointer 14 April 2022

 ^“looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” – ESV Hebrews 12:2

Who do you look to in time of your trouble and need?  Who is the source of your trust?  Who is the rock, who is unchangeable yesterday, today and forever?

Praise God:

– Today we can look to Jesus, the One who is sinless, yet came to die for you and me that we may receive everlasting life.

Pray for

– God’s help to grant us humility and the grace of sacrificial spirit, that we can model Him to bless others in our community.

– EAST community to place our faith and hope in our Lord Jesu.  May He empower us to be His… vessels to share the Gospel to all nations.

“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus”. – Roman 15:5

Do we see suffering experienced by our community and elsewhere in the world? Pray for them!  Also, in this Lenten period, let us practise contemplation and wait upon the Lord with endurance, patience and faith.

Prayer pointer 17 March 2022

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”  Philippians 4:6 -ESV

Friends, are you anxious about anything? Are you trying very hard to handle life situations in your own strength? Lent season, is a time for us to draw close to God in prayer, reflect on His love to us and pass His blessings to others.

Praise God:

– That we have a heavenly father who loves us and is always with us to free us from anxiety.

Pray for

– God’s intervention for everyone who seeks Him earnestly and prayerfully in their times of need and decision making.

– EAST Mission Hub, as a centre to continue blessing migrant workers in the neighbourhood and a seminary for equipping leaders.
