Prayer pointers 19 May 2022

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” – Psalm 37:5, ESV

Is anyone of you anxious about your future? Trust the Lord to guide you and grant you the ability to do His will.  You need the strength of the Lord to accomplish His call. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s empowerment upon you and draw on God’s strength.

Praise God:

– That the graduands have braved through online, hybrid and unexpected changes in their learning journey to finish well.

Pray for

– The graduands to continue to have the zeal to learn, passion for lost soul and to build spiritual movements wherever that God sends them.

– All alumni will holistically be transformed by our Sovereign God, to go forth to make disciples of all nations. To be the salt and light wherever they go.

Prayer pointers 12 May 2022

“Both riches and honour come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.” – 1 Chronicles 29:12, ESV

Are you struggling in your own strength to meet deadlines and to make ends meet? Let go and look to the Lord for empowerment.

Praise God:

• That our powerful Abba father rules and reigns, bestows honour and wealth to whoever He favours.

Pray for

• Our hearts to be aligned with God, as we submit ourselves in humility to Holy Spirit’s leading.
• EAST community to be blessed by God, to be used by Him for His purpose to glorify Him and bless others.

Prayer pointers 5 May 2022

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” – Psalms 28:7, ESV

Do you feel burnt out, defeated and in tatters?  Who can you rejoice in and trust to put a song in your heart to raise you up triumphantly?

Praise God:

– That our heavenly father, the creator and author of our lives has our best interest at heart.  He is readily there to bless us.

Pray for

– Our hearts to be attuned with God’s will to know and to fulfil his purpose in us so as to glorify him.

– EAST community to continue to rise up in God’s strength and protection; trusting Him to lift us up in victory.

Prayer pointers 28 April 2022

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” – Psalms 27:1, ESV

What or who are you fearful of today? Are you afraid to step out, as the borders have opened up?  Who is timeless, all powerful, all majestic and all loving to one and all?

Praise God:

– That our heavenly father loves us.  He guides us to the right path and grants us salvation. We are to boldly do according to His will to glorify Him.

Pray for

– God’s leading to the most needful ministry field, so that the people there will receive your light and salvation.

– EAST alumni to be fearless and selfless in sharing the good news to whoever and wherever God sends them to.

Prayer pointer 21 April 2022

^“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”. Romans 15:13 -ESV

Two thousand years ago, the stone was rolled away by His resurrection power.  He is alive, Jesus is alive!  Today are you still using your own strength to face all your challenges?

Praise God:

– That we can come to Jesus, believe that He came to die for us, accept Him as Lord and saviour, receive eternal life and  experience his peace and joy daily.

Pray for

– Holy Spirit’s empowerment for graduating students to finish well in their final semester.

– God’s removal of all obstacles for the new applicants to start their studies at  EAST.
