Partners in Ministry Graduation 2023
God is raising labourers. As we celebrated the graduation of many women in the Partners In Ministry (PIM) program, we are truly recounting and rejoicing in the mighty work of our Lord sending out His spiritual multipliers into the harvest field throughout Asia. What a joy to hear the same refrain over the many testimonies given – “God is equipping me to better serve alongside my husband, and build up other women!” What a privilege to see God sending them out to different pockets of Asia where solid biblical teaching might be lacking! What an encouragement to know that their hearts are burning to use what they have learned in PIM program to further equip more spiritual multipliers!
These ladies whom God brought into the PIM program love the Lord and are passionate to make Him known. Many are already actively leading groups and shepherding younger women locally. We are so grateful that God uses EAST to help them gain a strong conviction to serve visionally alongside their husbands in full time ministry, and to train them with tools which will benefit them as ministers of the gospel.

Seder Celebration & Reflections
“Seder” Reflections 2023
On 5th April preceding Good Friday, EAST celebrated Seder (Passover) as part of a Chapel Service. This was led by Rabbi Dr Keith Shubert. The experience was rich, thought- provoking, and meaningful. As a family of God, we acknowledged the work of Christ on the cross and Jesus being our Passover Lamb. We experienced what a normal Jewish family goes through in observing the Seder.
Inter-Collegiate Games Day 2023
After four years, the Inter Collegiate Games(ICG) 2023 resumed on the 3rd of March. Inter-collegiate games are sports competitions between different bible colleges or seminaries. These games can be a great opportunity for students to represent their school and showcase their abilities. The ICG comprises 5 competitive games and 1 indoor activity. Alongside these activities, there were snacks and ice cream provided by the host school, Singapore Bible College, for family, friends and alumni who came down to cheer and support their loved ones.
There was excitement when it was announced that ICG will be held this year! However, the excitement isn’t uniform. Some were excited because ICG is an event that unifies Singapore’s different seminaries, others were excited to be able to just play sports, and others were excited by the prospect of displaying their talents and getting the first prize and more. The motivations behind one’s excitement are an interesting insight because from those motivations we will be able to track one’s personal understanding of the purpose of the ICG.
