Prayer Pointers 29 June 2023

 

Do you feel powerless and need help to fulfil God’s Will in your life?

“Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.””   Zechariah 4:6 – ESV

Look no further; help comes from the indwelling Holy Spirit in us, live by faith in God, trusting His Word to lead us.

Praise God:

– That the Lord Himself will carry out His plans, which He alone has purposed, not by might nor by power, but by the grace of God’s Spirit.

– That we are being built together by the work of the indwelling Spirit of God. We are the Body of Christ, the community that is being built to glorify God.

 

Pray for:

– EAST new students to be encouraged by God’s Word which is living, powerful and sharper than two-edged sword; and to trust in Him to help them overcome difficulties.

– EAST community to carry out God’s Works, not trusting in our own intelligence, but through God’s Spirit who lives in us to accomplish God’s purpose and to draw people to God.
