Biography

Benson has been a full time staff with Cru Singapore since 1996. He has served in the campus ministry for nine years, three of which he was the director of the Great Commission Training Center (GCTC). Upon completing his MDiv., he joined EAST as the Operations Director (2008-2011), overseeing both the daily operations of the school as well as her resource management.

Benson is passionate about teaching. Together with his wife Josephine, they have served as educators in the Christian Parenting Courses in Covenant Evangelical Free Church and were trainers and coaches to many new staff of Cru. Benson has taught in EAST and her extension center and is also a teaching intern in Koine Greek and Ephesians courses in Asbury Seminary.

Benson and Jo have three children: Samuel, who is at his heavenly home with Jesus, having lived victoriously against the odds for five days, Joylynn and Benedict.
