EAST Commencement 2023

 

 

EAST 29th Commencement Service will be held on 20 May 2023 in Singapore. We are anticipating the graduation of 12 graduands with the following certificate or degrees:

• Partner-in-Ministry certificate – 6 (wives of ministers and students)
• Graduate Diploma degree – 2
• Master of Arts degree – 2
• Master of Divinity degree – 2

These graduands hail from East Asia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and South Korea. The EAST Commencement Service is an annual highlight and it is less than a month away. We are grateful to God for His empowerment, the ministry partners for their faithful giving and prayers, and the students for their diligence in completing their studies.

The commencement ceremony not only mark the completion of their academic studies and ministry equipping at EAST but it also signifies the beginning of a new chapter of serving the Lord in the global harvest with upgraded knowledge and ministry & life skills. EAST takes this opportunity to thank all ministry partners in enabling EAST to equip labourers for the Great Commission. Please pray for the graduates as they transition to their ministry whether in church or para-church context, missions, or marketplace in their home country or sent abroad.

On 28 April 2023, Friday afternoon, a Graduands’ Lunch was organised by the Registrar’s Office where graduands shared their words of appreciation and gratitude to the faculty who have mentored and taught them at EAST.

The Student Council will also be organising a Graduation Party on 18 May 2023. The entire EAST Community are invited to celebrate with these graduands prior to the official Commencement Service.

Do pray for all the graduands to complete all their examinations and assignments well, as they are in the final lap leading up to the momentous occasion of graduation.
