We recently concluded 6 sessions of intentional marriage-building for our students and their spouses to practise keeping their marriages strong through the demands of life and ministry.

Appreciating Our Field Supervisors

This semester’s Field Practicum students had a recent afternoon of appreciation for their field supervisors. It was a time of worship, re-connection and ministry dedication among our faculty, students and their mentors on the field.

EAST Cross-Cultural Team Internship 2018

Four teams of EAST students traveled to multiple overseas locations as part of their Cross-Cultural Team Internship 2018 (CCTI).

The teams spent a semester in preparation seeking to apply contextualisation and cross-cultural principles in their planning and working with the overseas partnering church or agency. They also sought to do team building as part of their working together cohesively and in unity. Then during the end-of-year school break, they embarked on a three-week cross-cultural missions trip and came alongside their partners to meet the latter’s ministry needs.

Tips for Everyone at Seminary

Dr Keith and Jacob’s mentoring group put together a session at last week’s chapel to share tips on how to do well as a seminary student.

Here’s what was shared:

(1) Continue to spend time with God. This recharges you and keeps you spiritually fresh. Your morning quiet time and short times of reflection throughout the day helps you stay connected with God.
