Holy Land Study Tour

Holy Land Study Tour
Picture yourself cupping your hands to drink water at the same spring where Gideon’s band of 300 select men did the same, climbing the steps that led to the altar of the golden calf in the northern kingdom of Israel, or studying about Jesus calming the storms as you sail across the Sea of Galilee. This is an opportunity to study God’s Word in its original setting. For more information about the Study Tour email studytour@east.edu.sg.

Homecoming Dinner 2017

The first EAST Homecoming Dinner 2017 saw some 80 alumni, faculty and staff, Cru Singapore leaders, and Board members gathered together. We praise God for the time of refreshed fellowship, rekindling of vision, and an opportunity to give toward the setting up of the EAST Alumni Association. We are thankful that the well-loved Dr Rick and Laurel Langston greeted all through video. The next two days after the Dinner was the Alumni Retreat 2017, another first! Hallelujah!

TS534/LF548 Theology and Practice of Humility (3 Credits)

17-26 May 2017 (starts on Wednesday, ends on the following Friday), 9.00 am-5.00 pm

What is biblical humility and how could we have it? God’s Word commands us to have humility: “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up” (James 4:10). When Dr Abraham Joseph wrote his PhD dissertation on “A Christian Theology of Humility,” he found that biblical humility is different than what we consider as “humility.” You will explore these and many more practical implications of having biblical humility for marriage, health, family, ministry and Christian life.
