Prayer pointers -6 January 2022

“You have heard; now see all this; and will you not declare it?
From this time forth I announce to you new things,
hidden things that you have not known. Isaiah 48:6 – ESV

God is asking us to transform our mindset to see His revelations and to proclaim the possibilities that He provides and brings to our awareness to bless us.

Praise God:

–  We are grateful for opening of doors and the safe arrival of all approved international students to start onsite classes at EAST Mission Hub.

Pray for

– All new students and their families to transition and assimilate well into an exploring and learning season at EAST and in Singapore.

– EAST community to be flexible, adaptable and thrive under the constant changes brought about by the covid pandemics.

Prayer pointer – 30 December 2021

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone. Isaiah 9:2 – ESV

The light of Jesus shone into Galilee two thousand years ago.  Are we, the recipients of His light, allowing that light to illuminate through us, that others may see Christ?

Praise God:

– For the light of Jesus, that brings us out of darkness into the bright hope that frees us from fear and captivity.

Pray for

– Our faith in God that His joy turns our fear and sadness into gladness.

– All staff and students of EAST to continue to seek Christ, stay hopeful and shine His light.

Prayer Pointers -16 December 2021

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13 :34,35 -ESV

We thank God that we are loved to love, blessed to bless. It is God’s command that we love one another, and in doing so, to be disciplined and responsible for our health and that of other’s. Safe distancing and getting vaccinated are social responsibilities and norms to keep safe and stay healthy for ourselves and others.

Praise God that vaccination and booster jabs are available to our International students and that many have benefitted from it.

Pray for:

– God’s continual protection for our International students here and their extended families in their home countries.

– God’s grace and favour for all to experience love in this season of love.
