Biography

Margaret is a staff of Cru Singapore (formerly Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ) since 1975. She has ministered to high school students, polytechnic students & executive wives in Singapore. She is a qualified coach with Leadership Evaluation And Formation (LEAF) in East Asia and has ministered among vocational Christian leaders serving in creative access situations. She has also used the Birkman assessment tool to help EAST student couples better understand one another in their marriage relationship.

Margaret has a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from International School of Theology-Asia, Philippines. She is a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Margaret is married to Chan Chong Hiok, the current President of EAST, and has two adult sons, Joshua and Joel. She enjoys the privilege of mentoring women and seeing them transformed by the grace of God to be all that the Heavenly Father wants them to be.
