CCCI Announced New President in David Robbins

Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI, also known as Cru), a worldwide evangelism and discipleship ministry and the founding organisation of East Asia School of Theology, announced on 5 June 2024 that David Robbins will be serving as its new global president from 1 July 2024.

Here is an extract of the announcement as posted on the CCCI website:

Robbins brings more than two decades of experience with Cru, most recently serving as CEO of FamilyLife, a ministry of Cru dedicated to helping families grow closer to God and each other, and impacting their corner of the world.

Before becoming FamilyLife’s CEO in 2017, Robbins served in various capacities and leadership roles with Cru. This includes launching a ministry to 20-somethings in New York City, leading a student ministry team in Italy and serving as a regional director for the U.S. Campus Ministries in the Southeast Region. Robbins has consistently demonstrated a passion for evangelism and discipleship, and a heart to reach the world.

Robbins, 46, will be the fourth president of Campus Crusade for Christ International/Cru, succeeding Steve Sellers, who prayerfully announced his decision to step into a new role with Cru in January.

A commissioning ceremony will take place on Thursday, 18 July 2024 (8.00 AM – 9.00 AM Singapore time) and will be livestreamed for those who would like to join online.
