Biblical Greek 2: Exegesis using Tools (NT502, 3 Credits, Concurrent)
11 January – 10 May 2022, Tuesdays, 9.00 am-12.00 pm
Building on NT501, this course strengthens students’ knowledge and skills in applying the principles of Greek grammar, syntax, and semantics in New Testament exegesis. Students will become more competent in using Bible software and tools that utilise Greek to translate and analyse NT passages. They will also learn the steps of exegesis and apply them to exegete NT passages. Prerequisite: NT501 Biblical Greek 1: Elementary Greek.
Note: Students taking the class for credit will need to have access to or will need to purchase the Logos Bible Software (any version) with all the Greek resources required for the course. The software bundle is available for purchase by students and alumni and/or accessible for use at EAST library.
Benson Goh, PhD, has been a staff with Cru Singapore since 1996. He has served in the campus ministry for nine years and was the director of the Great Commission Training Center. Upon completing his MDiv, he joined EAST as the Operations Director. Benson obtained his PhD from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2017.
