Biblical Counselling in Ministry (LF561, 3 Credits, Online)

Introduction to foundational principles and techniques of a ministry of care and counselling. The course includes a study of biblical, theological, and ethical aspects of counselling in ministry as well as common counselling concerns often encountered by ministry practitioners. Course includes practical application.
Audit students are expected to complete assigned readings and discussions on Populi.
Justine Han, PhD, has counselled people in church and ministry situations in Korea, Japan, and USA. She served with Cru and has also been a Pastor of Women’s’ and Children’s’ Ministry for Korean-American churches. She has been a Course Tutor of Education and Pastoral Ministry in the Distance Education Program at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (USA). She and her husband, Raymond, have two adult children.
