World Missions (Day Course)
IS510 World Missions (2 credits)
Wednesdays, 9.00 am-11.15 pm
An introduction to the exciting biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic perspectives of Christian world missions. Special emphasis is given to the expansion of Christianity, missionary methods used by key people, and lessons for today. Key subjects addressed include how much of God’s global mission has been completed, how much is left to do, how it is being done, and what He wants to do through His people.
Song Tae Suk Raymond, PhD, served with Cru for 15 years in the USA and Japan (Tokyo and Osaka), and in pastoral ministry among Korean-American churches for 19 years. He and his wife, Justine Han, also served with the Distance Education program at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (USA).
