Biography

Dr. Roland Tan has been a full-time staff of Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ (S.C.C.C.) since 1974. Sending Singapore campus students for short term mission trips was his brainchild (1980). God has also used him to pioneer ministries in Hongkong and Indo-China. He has also lived in and served in the Philippines and South Korea. With the East Asia Area Office from 1987-1996, his responsibilities included Campus, Staff Training (G.C.T.C.), New Life Training for churches, Finance, and Personnel. He was the National Director of SCCC from 1996-2006. He is an elder with Bethesda Frankel Estate Church, where he serves as superintendent for the teenagers’ Sunday School.

Dr. Tan has been teaching Public Speaking and Biblical Preaching as an adjunct faculty at EAST. He is married to Ying Kheng and they have a daughter, Julienne who was born in Hong Kong.
